Blueprint Checklist

Dystopia Rising uses Blueprints, Recipes, Benedictions, and Necrology Guidelines as forms of in game crafting. Blueprints are used with the Artisan skill tree to produce Weapons, Armor, Gizmos, Traps, and Engineered Room Augments. These items use Scrap item cards, time, Mind Points, and Artisan Zones to create equipment that augments existing skills. Recipes are used to create Meals and Brews.

Recipes use a combination of Herb item cards and Produce to create two key areas of in game material crafting. Brews are focused on small, single use refreshes of Impact Skills (combat drugs), medicines, poisons, and recreational substances. Meals are focused on creating mechanics that replenish Mind points, provide longer term Upsurge or Down Surge mechanics, and focus on longer term augmentation mechanics.

Benedictions are unique mechanics that individuals with the Faithful Miracles and Faithful Will skills can use via faith. These effects are often Upsurges or Down Surges, but they can only Target members of a shared faith. Benedictions encourage longer role-play periods via their mechanical requirements, but do not cost much (if any) material goods.

Necrology Guidelines are a combination of Blueprint style instructions and procedures that involve the Mortis, Infection, and death. Necrology Guidelines specifically use Necrology Resources, and are often very large and expensive projects that have high risk (but high rewards). Necrology Guidelines normally fall into the general categories of Necrology Engineering, Necrology Chemistry, Necrology Exploration, Infection Manipulation, and Bio-Manipulation.

These are the current blueprints available for use in DR Live, sorted by category. These blueprints may change before the launch of DR Live, so this information should be considered a work in progress. There are some categories of blueprints that may be incomplete.

Crafting Zone Production Lists

  • This print is featured at every Artisan Crafting Zone and allows products of various Crafting Components as well generic artisan items. This area also allows smelting and welding of common scrap into higher tiers or Named Metals. This print is a function of the Zone itself, and not something that needs to be provided by the player.
